Driver Distraction – Is £200 and 6 points enough?

The One Solution

The more intelligent our Smart phones become, the more we are reliant on them for almost everything we do. The more reliant we are, the less likely we are to resist the temptation to pick the phone up whilst driving. Fact. From setting the heating or lighting at home, texting the kids or even checking the latest transfer news so many people do it and don’t realise the potential impact on you or others if you’re involved in an accident.

So how about an App based solution that essentially locks the handset down so that it can only be used for voice, whilst connected to Bluetooth when moving at more than 4 mph. No emails, no sms, no browsing – only receiving calls and making calls to predesignated numbers. The service can also offer lone worker protection, full tracking, expense validation amongst numerous other modules.

The product has been “Highly Recommended”by the Transport Research Laboratory (see link below) and we are about to launch an advertising campaign on national radio which will no doubt drum up significant interest.
